Norma J. Goodwin, M.D., is Founder, President and CEO, Health Power for Minorities®, LLC (Health Power®), and Editor-in-Chief of www.healthpowerforminorities.com, the No. 1 source of minority health information, worldwide. Health Power specializes in producing and widely disseminating customized, user-friendly and culturally relevant health information, and health promotion tools, for disease prevention, early detection and control. Dr. Goodwin is also Clinical Associate Professor in Preventive Medicine and Community Health, School of Public Health, State University of New York - Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

She has held multiple leadership positions including in the American Public Health Association, National Medical Association, American Heart Association, and advisor to Centers for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health, and is a member of the Thought Leaders Advisory Council of the National Public Health Information Coalition, a CDC affiliate. Dr. Goodwin has authored/co-authored more than 60 publications and her many media citations/contributions include the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, CNN and PBS. Biographical listings include Who's Who in Health Care, The World's Who's Who of Women, Who's Who among Black Americans, and Who’s Who of Community Service. Dr. Goodwin earned her B.S. degree from Virginia State University and her M.D. degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
