(Ced) - One thing I've learned this week is choosing my battles and focusing on what really matters. I've never been someone who cared about birthdays or "small holidays" and that has put a strain on my marriage. This has been a constant struggle for me in my relationship pre-marriage and during marriage now until I took the initiative to change that this week. Charlotte has always been really disappointed in me when it came to her Birthday and I wanted to do the small things to show her how much I love her and to make her feel loved.
