"How many children would you like to have?"
Few areas of marriage can cause greater consternation than a disagreement about the number of children one wishes to paren. If you want one child and he wants ten, someone is going to have to give at some point in the marriage. Experience tells me that the woman will usually get her way. After all, she is the one who must bear the load of carrying a child to term, surviving the pains of birth, and nursing the child. Reality dictates that, despite the father's most earnest promises and reassurances, the mother nearly always endures the majority of the late-night feedings, diaper changes, and colic cries alone.
Try to reach a decision about the number of children long before your wedding date. Although unexpected births do happen, it is an issue best resolved early, especially if either one of you has strong feelings about the size of an ideal family.
"Do you like to be spontaneous?"
Movies and soap operas often portray s*xual spontaneity through rose-colored lenses a three-minute escapade in a moving elevator; a secluded moment on a crowded beach; a quickie in the backseat of a moving cab. While such scenes make for great movie fodder, in real life these types of liaisons would be difficult to arrange, even for a married couple.
However, great s*x can be spontaneous, and it doesn't have to take place in the bedroom. If you want to talk about spontaneity in your s*x life, why not talk about your fantasies in regard to where and when you would make love. Placing yourselves in these romantic locations later would go a long way toward making spontaneity possible.
