n life there are many battles in which we must face head on. We have all had those times in our lives where life has given us a curve ball. In time, we will find ourselves in murky waters wondering how did we get there. Do you remember there was a time anything we desired we were able to achieve it. Those were the good old days. So what’s the difference? We have lost our swing in life because we have allowed ourselves to become our own worse enemy. We stray off the track in which God has laid before us. Everyone of us were designed by God with a specific talent, goal and purpose in our lives to achieve. No matter what that goal is; it’s up to us to stay on track. So why are we losing our swing. We have found ourselves trapped in the cycle of this world and the life it has to offer. There are too many distraction in which we have allowed into our lives. I will say that again, we have allowed. Think about. When you started to lose ground in your goal plan for your life what was going on that caused you to get off track. Exactly! Paul the Apostle understood this point in fact he gave an entire message about staying focused.“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:13-14
King James Version God desires each one of us fulfill our purpose in life. There is nothing He would like more than for us to achieve the plan and destiny in which He has created you to complete. We all have that plan inside of us. Let us look at this scripture very carefully. “I count not myself to have apprehended (to take into custody this understanding) but, this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind. (CHECK IT OUT) he had to take his (focus away from the things which had distracted him), the things that will get us off track we must leave those things behind us, take our focus off of it. So, the next thing he had to do was to (reach forth) Getting His swing back. Third, He had to (press) go against those obstacles and distractions in life (the mark) the design in which God has laid out for us. Finally, toward the purpose (high calling) this is your purpose what God has designed for you Finally, we can do this through (God in Christ Jesus). We Have to take that challenge to press forward and letting go and taking our focus off of things in which sway us off the course of the High Calling of God. Whenever, we have a goal that is purposefully designed for us to achieve. Our challenge is to press against all odds. We will all get discouraged, have bad days and we will have obstacles but we can reach our goals no matter how long it takes if we set it in our minds (the battle ground) to press, to accomplish, achieve and attain our goals through Christ. God has a purpose for you and that is to fulfill the tasks in your life in which he has called you for the purpose of the kingdom. That could be writing your book, going back to school, a businesses anything. But you have to take your focus off of the excuses and reasons in your life. Sometimes it could be a person or person(s), environment, whatever it is your duty to get back on track. I challenge you to take that risk and do what God has called you to do in your life.. You might find yourself living your dream. You are the worse enemy you have in your mind. What you don’t realize is this the enemy has come into your life to steal away, murder and destroy your purpose in which God has designed for YOU! But Jesus came so that you can have a full life of abundance in every aspects. So go on out there and Get Your Swing and don’t let no one stop you from achieving the High Calling in which your were designed to achieve. Remember Creating us was God’s gift to us but living a life that fulfills the purpose in which He has called us is our Gift to God.
