Job Description
The Finance Lead, Immunology Patient Services partners closely with the Immunology AbbVie Patient Services (APS) organization to establish financial strategies, advance enterprise finance transformation, and support business analytics and reporting to ensure the success of the US Strategic Tx Operations business. The role is responsible for all financial planning & analysis activities with respect to Actuals, LBEs, Plan, Update, LRP, and ad-hoc analysis as needed to support day-to-day operations and strategic plans. Responsibilities - Perform month-end close activities including SG&A review, benchmark variance analysis, and monthly management reporting
- Partner closely with the Immunology Brand and APS stakeholders to support the planning process for all APS SG&A functional areas such as patient support, access & reimbursement, marketing, strategic operations, copay admin, etc.
- Track promotional/non-promotional budget and perform analysis of monthly actual financial results for Immunology, including comparisons against LBE/Plan/Update to highlight risks and opportunities
- Own and integrate business assumptions using both quantitative and qualitative insights in alignment with APS stakeholders into models to derive a data-driven forecast output of expenses
- Independently prepare relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle, develop meaningful management reporting schedules, and highlight key takeaways in a clear and concise manner
- Drive finance transformation by identifying and implementing solutions to optimize finance processes to drive speed, agility, and insights
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate on project teams as required
- Interact with all levels of management to communicate financial implications and guidance
Qualifications
- Six+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Ability to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders, as well as ability to work independently
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Experience with large scale ERP and planning systems such as SAP/BPCpreferred
