AI Manager

You'll work alongside talented professionals reimagining and reengineering operations and processes that are critical to businesses. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

Work You'll Do

Oversee and lead the AI developers and AI lifecycle, from conception to deployment. The candidate will coordinate with developers to ensure timely delivery of AI solutions, manage resources and budgets effectively, and communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance w/ Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience with Python and command line.
  • 5+ years' experience in software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Experience managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Annapolis, MD

Preferred:
  • Experience leading teams of developers or managing the AI/ML lifecycle from conception to deployment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python and other foundational languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Implement best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in automation and AI.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic MCP).
  • Background in cybersecurity-focused AI solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,600 to $241,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
