Job Description
Assistant/Associate Professor of Otolaryngology

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia is searching for a new Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgeon. The successful candidate will have trianing and/or expertise in advanced ablative, microvascular surgery and multidisciplinary management of patients with head and neck cancer to complement our existing team. Patient care will be provided at the UVA Hospital, Culpeper Surgery Center and at the UVA Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center. In addition to clinical services, responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; and clinical, translational and/or basic science research. This is a tenure-eligible track position. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications, experience and scholarly achievement.

The selected applicant will be required to complete a background check, drug screen, and health assessment prior to their first day of employment per University policy.
