This recipe was passed down from Father who probably learned
it while in the Military!
Everyone loves it for its tasty spices, creamy texture, and warm
comfort it feels your tummy with.
CHIPPED BEEF and GRITS
Ingredients:
Feel free to substitute items.
-Onion
-Garlic
-Corned Beef
-Salt
-Pepper
-Beef Bullion Cubes
-Cream of Mushroom
or
\-Cream of Chicken
or
-Cream of Celery
or
-Flour to create gravy
-Butter
-Grits
-Water
How to make:
-Add Bullion Cubes to Skillet
-Add Butter to Skillet
-Add Minced Garlic to Skillet
-Chop Corned Beef and add to Skillet
-Add Salt
-Add Pepper
-Add Cream of Mushroom to Skillet
-Add Water to Skillet
-Bring to a Boil then let it simmer
-Boil water
-Add Grits and cook til' soft
-Spread Grits on plate or on Bowl first
-Spoon Chipped beef gravy on top of
Grits.
-Add a slice of Toast for Fun!
This meal will surely be craved by the
masses and remembered forever!
